Walter Gold (remembered)
03/14/41 - 11/16/06
Walter Gold has been with RadioCHROMA since its'
inception. Walter relished the work he did with
RadioCHROMA which included interviews with radio
and television legend Joe Franklin, numerous artists,
and comedian Jay London. Prior to his work with
RadioCHROMA, Walter had worked with station
WTHE in Long Island, NY and a NY college station.

His warm and cordial voice was immediately
recognizeable and he had a way of making all the
guests he interviewed very relaxed and comfortable.

When things did not go well, his favorite expression
was 'it was a blessing in disguise'. This was his way
of pointing out the good in things even when the
good was not that obvious. This would often work in
making his friends feel better.

We all know that Walter, indeed, did a great deal of
good for all of his friends by just being their friend.
His friendship has enriched many a life.

Walter was a great friend and will be missed by the
entire crew of RadioCHROMA as well as his listeners
and his family.

Walter Gold...no one quite like him and missed by
many.

The entire crew of RadioCHROMA.
